Welcome to Kindergarten! I'm Barbara Erwin and I've been teaching here in Lago Vista for 23 years. I have two sons and a daughter. My older son, Charles, is a former Marine who's married and lives in Virginia. He and his wife, Leslie, have a wonderful daughter, Jamie, who is three and sweet Riley who just turned one. My younger son married in October of 2008 and is a Lt. in the USAF. Jeff and his wife, Anna, are currently stationed in Wichita Falls. Both sons are former Marines. My sweet daughter Cindy is a Freshman at LVHS.


Kindergarten is a very exciting year for our children. They are busy learning the culture and language of school and exploring their environment and capabilities. My goal is for the children to love learning and to be excited about learning and using new information. I also want them to learn to love books. Our kindergarten children have an adventurous, exciting and fun year ahead of them.
