Reading: We will be working on reading books on each child's level. Each child should be bringing home an AR book each night.

Writing: We will be working on writing to a prompt as the year goes by.

Spelling: We have a new list every week. It will be on the 3rd grade web page. If you need help coming up with a way to work on the spelling words just give me a call.

Science: We will be studying the Solar System soon.

Social Studies: We will be studying communities. We are planning on having some speakers come and talk to our class about working together to for a common goal.

It will be a fun year full of learning. I am looking forward to a great year!
