AP juniors, Class of 2010: finalize your summer reading and prepare for a panel discussion as you dress as your favorite character in Their Eyes Were Watching God.
This will be an exciting beginning of a very successful year.Last May 34 students passed the AP Language and Literature exam qualifying them for college credit. You too will prepare for the rigorous AP exam, be commended on TAKS, and raise your SAT scores.

Freshmen, Class of 2012, we will prepare for a successful, exciting year.

Seniors, as you finish that long and winding road of high school,you dream of climbing the exciting mountain looming ahead of you: college! Last May 34 juniors and seniors passed the AP Language and Literature exam qualifying them for college credit.

Don't forget to bring your summer reading journal on the first day. I will have my recommendation letters ready for you, a spiral and a folder with a challenging syllabus, and shelves overflowing with wonderful novels.

Now all I need is you and your mountain climbing gear.
