I'm Cathy Evans, and I work with our English Language Learners in Kindergarten through 5th Grade. We will be concentrating on language acquisition and student proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. I appreciate your interest and support in the education and success of our second language learners.

I came to Lago Vista Elementary in 2001 from Amarillo, where I taught 4th Grade for 13 years. I love spending time with my family, both here and in the Panhandle. I'm an avid sports fan (especially football) and also enjoy reading, cooking, gardening, and traveling; but my passion is teaching.
