I am Diane Bode and I currently teach 4 different business classes: Accounting I, Principles of Business Marketing and Finance, Human Resource Management and Business Law. This is my 16th year in education. I have previously taught at Judson High School, New Braunfels High School and James Madison High School in San Antonio. My primary background has been in Business and Marketing education but I have spent the last two years teaching Economics/Government.

I am originally from Denton, Texas but attended The Hockaday School in Dallas where I graduated in 1987. I then attended the University of North Texas and graduated with a B.B.A with my major in marketing. It was in college that I met my husband, Clay, who played football for the Eagles. We were married in 1992 and moved to Seguin, Texas where Clay began his high school coaching career. We have two sons. Collin is a freshman at Texas Lutheran University and is currently playing football for the Bulldogs and is majoring in Kinesiology and minoring in Math. He hopes to follow in his grandfather's, father's and uncle's footsteps and becoming a high school football coach. Ryan is a current sophomore here at Lago Vista and participates in both football and track.

Clay and I are very excited to have joined the Lago Vista community and look forward to meeting everyone.
