Welcome to Mrs. Ramsey's Art Class! I teach art to students in Kindergarten thru 5th grade. Students meet weekly for 50 minutes and every other Friday for 25 minutes. Students look and talk about art as well as create their own art. In class we focus on the Elements of Art and the Design Principles. We try to integrate these concepts into our own creations. My goal as a teacher is to expose students to a wide variety of media. We will be working in pastels, watercolor, tempera, chalk, various mixed media, and everyone's favorite; clay. I expect every student to try new things, do their personal best, follow class rules. When grading assignments, I consider: creativity, neatness and did the student follow directions. |
