This is my tenth year of teaching and I have loved every one of them and the challenges they bring into my life. My first three years of teaching were here at Lago Vista Middle School and I could not be happier to be back at such a great school. I have also taught in Florida where I taught at a Magnet School for the Arts and a private Catholic School. Most recently I was teaching in Pennsylvania in an urban school district. Throughout the past ten years I have taught students in grades 3-8, but have found that middle school is where I truly belong.

I was married right here in Lago Vista in 2001 to Patrick Yonnone. At our reception, at which tamales were served, we learned not everyone knows to take the corn husk off first. We have an energetic 3-year old named Cosmo and a very loud 1-year old named Rory. We are glad to be back in Texas where the boys have several cousins to play with and/or get in trouble with at family gatherings.
