Welcome to first grade! In case you would like to know more about Mrs. Hulse, keep reading. I grew up in College Station, TX and graduated from Texas A&M University. Yes, I am an Aggie~WHOOP! In college I was a Young Life Leader and worked at several Christian camps, including T Bar M, Kanakuk, and Frontier Ranch. As you can tell working with children has always been my passion. Through an amazing course of events, my husband Brad and I moved to Lago Vista in 1998. The current superintendent called asking me to come teach at Lago Vista ISD and within the hour my husband (professional golfer at time) received a call to work at Lago Vista Country Club. I guess you could say we both knew where we were headed and never looked back! I began teaching at the middle school, and within a short period I transferred to the elementary school. After having our first daughter Randi Beth, we left Lago Vista for 2 years so my husband could go back to school. While in College Station, we had our second daughter Martha. After Brad graduated, we once again we moved back to Lago Vista. He is currently a teacher and perusing a master’s degree. Over the course of the past 16 years I have taught Special Education, Physical Education, 2nd Grade, was a Reading Specialist, Dyslexia Specialist and I just completed a master’s degree in School Counseling. As a family we LOVE the beach, going out on the lake and family movie nights. I am so excited about this school year! 1st grade ROCKS! |
