My focus this year is integration of technology skills into the other classrooms. Collaboration with the middle school teachers and myself will bring technology skills to ALL students.

I am pleased to announce that the Lago Vista Educational Foundation accepted our grant for webcams for all teachers and staff at the middle school. We will be able to visually communicate with parents, professionals, and people from all over the world. So if you have a Skype address, please let us know - we'd love to chat with you!

Our Technology II class will investigate NEW technologies to LVMS. Second year technology students will acquire broadcasting skills creating weekly campus video updates with Visual Communicator 3.

I am also happy to announce that we received a grant from the Lago Vista Educational Foundation for a classroom set of VEX robots. We'll spend the first half of the year learning how to build and operate these wonderful machines, and hopefully have some contests. The second semester will focus on video game programming with Multimedia Fusion 2, Alice, and Scratch.
