Daily Assignments and Homework:

• Complete all work in pencil.
• Show all work.
• Homework is assigned Monday-Thursday and on rare occasions Friday unless a test is given on that day.

Late Work:
• The first day an assignment (homework included) is due, it will be evaluated on the basis of 100% of its value. If the student misses a class but is in school that day, the assignment is due on that day.
• The assignment will be evaluated on the basis of 80% of its value on the second day (1 calendar day late).
• The assignment will be evaluated on the basis of 50% of its value on the third day (2 calendar days).
• Daily assignments/homework received after the third day will receive a zero.

Even if a student earns a zero for a homework assignment, he/she must come in during advisory to complete the assignment. Each assignment is given for a specific learning purpose. It is important that a learning opportunity isn't missed.

Make-up Work: It is the student’s responsibility to complete missed assignments and tests. Upon returning from an absence, students should request make-up work and make arrangements to take missed tests. Generally, three days are given for each absence; however, in cases of prolonged absences, other arrangements will be made.
