Pre-AP curriculum will be updated for the coming school year (2010-2011). Pre-AP Science will integrate many more math skills. Students will be expected to memorized basic information outside of class instead of practicing these skills during class time. This will allow more class time for labs which incorporate graphing, extensive discussion and analysis of lab data. A calculator will be an essential tool for class this year (A calculator with -,+, / and X and a memory recall function). Use of a graphing calculator will be introduced, however, this will be provided and will not be required as a school supply.Students will be required to express themselves in complete sentences when answering questions. All work is required to be neat and legible. If it is not, it will be returned to be completed by the next day. |
