-We are reading poetry, easy text and reader's theater to practice fluent reading.
-Phonics rules and patterns are important. We sort words, make words and read & write words with many different patterns. Some activities we do are: write in sand and shaving cream, play phonics games, hunt for and sort words, and read text with pattern words.
-We know that good readers use a variety of comprehension strategies when interacting with text. The strategies we've been practicing include:
