Here is a great way to help prepare your student!!!

When we have a scheduled TEST we will spend the class period before working on our review. I have each student write down the correct answers to the review so that they are able to check their work and verify that they are doing it correctly. Here is where you come in. When your son/daughter comes home on the night before a TEST, have them give you their review (which is to be signed by you anyway), and give you the answer key and you pick out 6-10 different problems from the review and have them teach it to you. The beauty of it is that you don't have to recall the test material, all you have to do is make sure that when they are done teaching it to you they get the correct answer. That way when they come into my class to take the test they will feel very confident that they know the material.
