is an organization whose purpose is to support, promote and foster the educational and social environment of Lago Vista Elementary. Our goal is to complement the school curriculum and atmosphere with additional opportunities for parents, teachers and students to learn, socialize, communicate and grow.

All members of the LVES PTO are families and staff members who are associated with Lago Vista Elementary. The Executive Board and Committee Leaders represent our membership. This Board is composed of PTO members who are either elected or appointed to Board positions. The Board meets throughout the school year and Board members, along with other appointed PTO members, manage the organizational and financial aspects of all the PTO functions.

The LVES PTO operates on an annual budget, which is approved by a PTO membership vote at an annual PTO meeting held early in the school year. The money is used to sponsor PTO activities for the students of Lago Vista Elementary and the community as a whole. Money is raised through PTO membership dues, donations and annual fundraising events.

The LVES PTO sponsors a wide variety of programs and events. Events are for social and fundraising purposes. The PTO also initiates programs, which will increase educational opportunities for the students.

The achievements of the Lago Vista Elementary PTO can be measured in the cooperative spirit with which parents and teachers work together to share their care and concern for Lago Vista's students. The PTO's success can be seen in the student's appreciation for their school, their teachers and the opportunities these give to them.
