 Ms. Patschke is the assistant band director at Lago Vista and specializes in performance of brass instruments. Ms. Patschke graduated from the University of North Texas in 2008 where she earned a bachelor's degree in music education. While at UNT she studied trumpet performance under Shaun Abraham and Mark Lynn and wind conducting under Dennis Fisher. She was a member of the UNT Green Brigade Marching Band, the UNT Concert Band, the 8 o'clock steel drum band, and the UNT Brass Band under the direction of Dr. Brian Bowman, where she was a flugelhorn soloist. She is currently a member of the Texas Music Educators Association, the Association of Texas Small School Bands, and Sigma Alpha Iota, a national music fraternity for women.
Ms. Patschke is a native Texan, hailing from Thorndale, TX. In her free time, Ms. Patschke enjoys cooking, playing poker, disc golf, and spending time with her family. She lives in Leander, TX with her fiance', Andrew Stehn, and their dog, Money. |
