This mask is from the lands of Guadeloupe of the Kandill tribe. They call the mask careshbre (car-tes-h-brae) meaning Fish God. They carved it out of tree bark with stone. They use it to summon the Great Fish God. They believe that by wearing the mask and dancing by the shore they believe the Fish God comes with all his fish and bring them to shore. Then when they go fishing for their food they will never run out of new delicious fish to catch. Their Fish God has disappointed them many times, but they still believe.

This mask comes from Antarctica. It was made we think a very long time ago around Tuesday last week. The people who use it call themselves Penguinesse. The purpose is to show appreciation to the great penguin that killed ninja bears.

Chris's mask is from Kokomo. There they honor the ninja bears and the mask resembles the almighty ninja bear. Black is for the ninja, the gold in the eye representsrepresents the power and fury the ninja bear has, the white lightening bolts show the rank in power.

Scott's mask is from the island of Kokomo, made by the Kokomoians who wear it to honor the great ninja bears that protect them and fight off enemies. It is worn every night. The gold symbolizes the fur color of the sensai bear, red eyes symbolize his warrior spirit. The scar over his nose and eye represent his many battles & way he risks his life to protect the Kokomoians, the lightening bolt represents his sensau-hood in the ninja clan.

Chris's mask is from Costa Rica and was made to summon the water god. It is used in ceremonies and when rain is needed.

Cole's goldfish mask originated from the island of Puerto Rico. The people who created it were the "Shortlegs" and they are all 2 feet tall. Its purpose is to keep regular size people from messing with them. They wear them all the time except for when they are sleeping. The design of the mask and the bright colors is to hypnotize people that see them so they won't be able to hurt the Shortlegs and they can make them do whatever they want.

Nick's mask is from Jamaica. The people who created it were called, "Fish Lovers"! The mask represents one of the fish gods they have and was a great fish warrior. It is never worn because it is a mask of a god and it is hung up on a pole.

This mask represents the Revolutionary War the patriots won from Britain. It is worn on July 4th. Blue is for the patriots, red is for the loyalists and Britain red coats. white is for the people who didn't care.

The origin of this mask is Costa Rica. It was creawted by a priest to heal the sick or dying. It represents good spirits that enter the body. Purple is for hope, blue for listening, orange for courage, white is where the bad spirits escape.
