"This Band Rocks!" is the motto of the Lago Vista Band Booster Club. The Band Booster Club is comprised of all parents whose students are currently enrolled in MS and HS band, as well as, any community members interested in participating.
Our purpose is to support our students and directors during marching season and concert season. Efforts include everything from moving equipment, coordinating meals, prepping uniforms, chaperoning games and competitions, as well as, raising money to purchase equipment and props outside of the directors budget.
Band Booster fundraising efforts include selling spirit items at home football games and throughout the year and making mums for Homecoming. Cash donations are always appreciated!
Thanks to the community's generosity, a silent auction is held at the winter concert each year. Funds from the auction are used to support the Theron Rose Memorial Scholarship Fund. Seniors who have benefited from this award are Katy Popham, Juan Balderez and Ryan Monahan, and most recently Allison Wallace and Brittany Weaver. The Viking Band Boosters wish them all the best!
